Solidarity Orchard
The Pointe-Claire Solidarity Orchard can be found right across the street from the Aquatic Centre and Bob Bernie Arena, on Maywood Avenue.
A Brief History
Rows of apple, plum, and pear trees were planted this fall in memory of those who were taken from us by the COVID-19 virus. The orchard is complete with planters alongside Maywood Avenue. Harvests are donated to Pointe-Claire families in need.
The West Island Mission takes care of this garden with help from the City of Pointe-Claire, John Rennie High School students, and members of the community.
