Individuals and families in need must be registered with WIM before they can start receiving Monthly Food Assistance. To register, please call 514-912-6813; we will walk you through the process.
Once you are registered with us, requests to receive well-balanced, high quality food can be made no more than once a month via email at email@example.com, or by calling 514-912-6813. All calls or emails must be received between Monday morning and Wednesday at midnight in order to receive your basket that same week. Please note that you cannot receive assistance from any other food bank in the West Island in order to be eligible to receive Monthly Food Assistance from WIM.

Because Hunger Doesn't Take a Holiday at Christmas
Christmas Baskets are offered in priority to families who are already registered with WIM and who have received monthly food assistance in the past year. However, individuals or families who have not received helped from any West Island food banks are welcome to apply to receive a Christmas basket. Quantities are limited and therefore, advanced registration is mandatory and will be given on a first come, first serve basis.
Registration for this event takes place online during the month of October. All registrations must be received by October 31st or they will not be accepted. Proper documentation will be required during registration which includes proof of residence (lease, hydro bill, etc.), Medicare cards for every member of your family, as well as an acceptable reference of income for each adult, such as a welfare check, pay check or pension stub, Emploi Québec or new immigrant status.
There will be a $5 fee to register for a Christmas basket. The fee must be paid when your Christmas basket is picked up. Please note that you cannot apply to receive a Christmas basket from any other food bank in the West Island.

Back-to-school supplies and other related aid are offered to all families but priority is given to those already registered with WIM and who have received monthly food assistance in the past year.
Quantities are limited and therefore, advanced registration is mandatory and will be given on a first come, first serve basis. Anyone who does not call or email during the month of June, will not be registered. Calls received after June 30th will be placed on a waiting list.
